ORLANDO IS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE

We think you will find Orlando and the Central Florida area a great place to live. While many know Orlando as the home to seven of the world’s best theme parks, Orlando and Central Florida have so much more to offer.

The metro area of Orlando is home for people from countries around the globe. We are a tolerant, diversified group with a progressive outlook.  Though Orlando, like many Florida cities, is thought of as a retirement city, more than two-thirds of its residents are of working age.
The cost of living in Orlando is one reason for relocation to our city. Orlando surpasses many other major cities in its low cost of living. In general, the cost of living in Orlando is 4% lower than the national average. This is due in great part to the cost of housing which is 15% below the national average. Additionally, there is no state income tax in Florida.

Besides the lower cost of living, the weather and our location are two excellent reasons for people to move to Orlando.  Our seasonal winter temperature average is 61.9⁰. We miss out on removing snow from our driveways and dodging dangling icicles dropping from rooftops, but we spend that time instead enjoying outdoor activities without the need for snow gear.
Orlando is located between two beautiful coastlines that are home to some of the best beaches in America. Both shorelines are within driving distance for a beautiful day at the beach.
In addition to the allure of our sublime beaches, Central Florida has several springs and many lakes. If you are a naturalist, you will find our wildlife abundant and spectacular. The manatees at Blue Springs Park are a wonderment to behold and are just a short drive away from downtown Orlando. There are summer sea turtle watches on both coastlines.

For those who love the arts, Orlando has its own ballet, opera, philharmonic, as well as Bach and Shakespeare festivals.  The area is also home to hundreds of museums, galleries, theatres, gardens and historic homes.

Orlando offers great gastronomical opportunities for its foodies. According to the financial data website, "WalletHub", Orlando is the best foodie city in the U.S. There are many ethnic and diverse restaurant choices throughout the Orlando area. An array of food festivals are also hosted throughout the year. For the gourmet cook, Orlando is number one nationally in gourmet specialty-food stores.

Come visit our team and see if you don’t agree. For the young and the young at heart, Orlando is a wonderful place to call home.
